Context

Bibine & Ripaille asked me to rethink the visual identity and brand image of its shop, designed as much for tasting on site as for buying to take home.

Challenge

Convey a strong, quality positioning without luxury codes or corner-store clichés: demanding, yet accessible and friendly, true to the welcome the place is known for.

Art direction

A dual anchor: visuals that evoke terroir and sharing, carried by a bold typeface and colour palette, to make the place a memorable address.

Introducing the place: fine food, cheese, charcuterie and wine in Saint-Gilles. Fine food, cheese, charcuterie: an editorial layout. The logotype: italic meets roman, in burgundy. The project’s context, challenge and art direction. The B&R badge over product photography. Chalk-style illustrations about sharing and tasting. The badge on photo and on black. Business cards and badge on the brand burgundy. Cheese platters, showcased. Bottle, glass and knife: the brand’s line work. Thank you! Closing illustration on the brand burgundy.

My role & approach
