Simplifying a key feature of an AI video post-production platform, guided by user feedback.

- Type
- Redesign of an existing feature
- Key result
- 100% of testers autonomous

In 30 seconds, if you’re in a hurry
The Storyboard, at the heart of video edit management, had become confusing: too much information, unclear actions.
Streamline workflows, reduce frustration and make features visible, building on the existing product.
100% of tested users find and use navigation and export without any help.
The context
Aive is an AI platform that automates and optimises video post-production for professionals and businesses, generating video content at scale.
Storyboard navigation, essential for managing edits, suffered from usability issues and a lack of evolution. Users struggled to manage several edits, navigate features and understand the available actions.
The goal
Rethink navigation and related features to streamline workflows, reduce user frustration and improve feature visibility.
A crucial redesign to deliver on Aive’s promise: saving video project managers weeks of post-production by using AI to generate, organise and export variations. All while iterating on an existing platform, based on user feedback.
